• Management Consultant - GDPR + more

    Job Locations UK-London
  • Overview

Chaucer Digital’s Advisory practice is growing. With the upcoming changes to Data Protection legislation in the UK and Europe under the guise of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) due to be enacted in the UK in May 2018, Chaucer Digital is working with clients to assist them in their preparation journey to compliance.
We have started 3 new major engagements in the last 3 weeks, as well as 2 audits of GDPR work completed by a Big 4 Consultancy.
Currently hiring to support a very strong pipeline; your first assignment (3-9 months) could include:
    • Enterprise GDPR transformation for a Leading Global Telecommunications company
    • Insurance firm in central London
    • GDPR Audit and Process re-design – Law Enforcement (Police)
At Chaucer we do not look at the GDPR in isolation. We take a more lateral approach by having a detailed understanding of outside legislation that impacts our clients and how that in turn impacts the GDPR when mapping compliance elements.  Each industry we work in bring its unique vision on the compliance landscape, and its own challenges, especially in relation to the GDPR. The nature of the GDPR work Chaucer is undertaking provides consultants with exposure to a number of brand-name clients across industries.

We are seeking FTEs who have solid experience in advisory and / or implementation of changes necessary to comply with GDPR. You might not have specific GDPR experience yet, if you have a strong background in Data Privacy and Data Protection, with Project Management or Change Management experience, we would love to hear from you. Work is likely to be varied, not purely GDPR, but will focus on GDPR for the first 9-12 months almost exclusively.

    What makes Chaucer different?

We are the 30 year old management consultancy with the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up, and a Big 4-quality client list in Energy, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Telecommunications & Central Government.

Chaucer is known for delivering pragmatic solutions and navigating the challenges that large complex programmes provide. We apply the necessary structure and processes of course, while remaining focused on the people element of the transformation or change.

Keeping our internal processes as lean as is practical and promoting based on merit (in real time, not fixed points in the year), encourages consultants to take control of their own career development.  I'd be happy to discuss how our Coaches and (grade specific) Development Leads support this with you during the interview process.

I hope to speak to you soon
