    We are seeking creative thinkers who are happiest when experimenting, failing fast, and operating with lean start-up principles. Associate Partners assume responsibilities from sales and business development to engagement management. They act as an exemplar to our consulting pool, managing delivery performance of multiple engagements and teams across accounts, supporting capability and practice development. The overall goal of the Associate Partner is to build Chaucer both internally and externally. To do this, Associate Partners are empowered to make important decisions. 


    Part of the role will entail developing business and monitoring opportunities in your own network and delivery area, as well as leading complex sales activity across the firm. Client relationships are critical to us, so your commercial focus needs to balance business with client needs at all times.


    It is likely you have been planning your path to Partnership for some time, and that you are looking for a growing management consultancy with ambitions to meet your own. 


    Duties include but are not limited to: 

    • Independently drive the success of a project by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission  
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of organisations  
    • Identify opportunities, articulate Chaucer’s value, and support selling services to both new and existing clients  
    • Develop thought leadership in the digital transformation and operational excellence spaces by publishing articles, and participating in industry events and panel discussions 
    • Lead and contribute to proposals, client presentations, and the finalisation of deliverables
    • Inform clients about further services and products that could enhance their business.
    • Consult with client to establish needs, set schedules, meet milestones, complete full projects, and obtain evaluative data
    • Write proposals, statements of work and project updates/reports, and track client relationship data

    Strategically, we are looking for people who are targeting a fast track to Partner, to support the rapid growth over the last 2 years and as we move towards our next MBO.
